For Memorial Day weekend, we decided to take a little road trip down to Portland for a couple days just to get out of Seattle. As is customary practice for me, I made a quick trip out to the gorge via the Scenic Columbia River Highway out to Crown Point, Latourell Falls and Multnomah Falls since it's only about a 20 minute drive from my parents house in Gresham.
Even on a cloudy, rainy day the views are spectacular.

As you can see, I don't know what appropriate hiking footwear is. Or clothes, for that matter. Woopsie.
Then again, if you can hike up it in ten minutes, flip flops are probably fine.
Love this face.
Latourell Falls is my favorite of the falls along the scenic highway for the reason that it's super easy to hike to and you can hike to the top or bottom unobstructed and within just a few minutes from the road. If I'm gonna get this close, I want to be able to get wet!
Multnomah Falls
After the bridge was closed for a few months due to rockslide damage, it was exciting that it was repaired and reopened for use again.
